Nikki Martin is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist based in Sydney, specialising in adult voice, swallowing and breathing conditions. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Pharmacology) from UNSW and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) from the University of Sydney, and has practised across some of Sydney's leading teaching hospitals.
Nikki is a member of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) and accredited in LSVT LOUD, Voicecraft, Lessac Madsen Resonant Voice Therapy (LMRVT) and respiratory muscle strength training (RMST).

Accredited CPSP status and a member of Speech Pathology Australia, the national professional body for the field.
Specialist accreditation in a voice treatment approach commonly used for Parkinson's disease and other neurodegenerative conditions.
Accredited in Voicecraft, a specialist approach to diagnosing and treating voice disorders.
Accredited in Lessac Madsen Resonant Voice Therapy, used for treating vocal fatigue and voice misuse.
Accredited in respiratory muscle strength training, supporting clients with breathing-related voice and swallowing difficulties.
One of a small number of Speech Pathologists in Australia accredited to conduct nasendoscopy independently.
Career background
Practised at Royal North Shore, Westmead and Concord Hospitals, working across ICU, Respiratory, Cardiology, Geriatrics and Burns, with a focus on dysphagia, tracheostomy and communication assessment.
Nikki was responsible for setting up the Voice Clinic at Concord Hospital.
Became one of only a few Speech Pathologists in Australia accredited to conduct nasendoscopy independently, assessing how the larynx functions during voice and swallow.
Chaired the NSW Voice Interest Group (VIG) and the Tracheostomy Discussion and Evidence Based Practice Group, and helped establish the multi-disciplinary tracheostomy team at Concord Hospital.
Began working in private practice focusing on voice, swallowing and breathing, at Sydney Sinus and Allergy Centre and later Sydney Voice and Swallowing.
Introduced The Breather to Australia and is considered an expert in the field internationally.
My aim is to help you rediscover joy and confidence as you overcome your voice and swallowing problems.
