Acid Reflux – my experience
Just before I was due to go on a holiday, I developed a really bad sore throat with a cough which lasted around ten days.

Since graduating in 2000, Nikki Martin has practiced Speech Pathology at various teaching hospitals including Royal North Shore, Westmead and Concord Hospitals. During this time, she has worked and has significant expertise in Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery (ENT) and Voice/Head and Neck Surgery, earning valuable experience in acute adult care including dysphagia (swallowing), tracheostomy and communication (language and speech) assessment and patient treatment across various units, including ICU, Respiratory, Cardiology, Geriatrics and Burns.

As a Speech Pathologist with extensive experience in the areas of Voice, Swallowing and Breathing problems, Nikki is a caring and focussed Speech Language Pathologist based in Sydney, who concentrates on holistic and collaborative patient care and works with patients to achieve their goals in therapy.
She is constantly updating her skills by attending national and international conferences and is always abreast of the most current clinical research and practices in Speech Pathology.
Nikki is accredited in LSVT-Loud, Voicecraft, Lessac Madsen Resonant Voice Therapy (LMRVT) and RMST (respiratory muscle strength training).
Nikki Martin is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) and is a member of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
